Whistleblowing
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. If something goes wrong, we want to know about it so we can act quickly and responsibly.
This Whistleblowing page explains how concerns can be raised and how they will be handled.
What is whistleblowing?
Whistleblowing is when someone reports a genuine concern about wrongdoing, unlawful activity, or behaviour that falls below expected standards.
This may include:
- financial misconduct or misrepresentation
- breaches of data protection
- conflicts of interest that have not been declared
- behaviour that is dishonest, unethical, or unsafe
- any activity that may harm clients, the public, or the organisation
Concerns can be raised by clients, partners, suppliers, or anyone connected with our business.
Our commitment
We take all concerns seriously and treat them with discretion.
We will:
- listen carefully to the issue raised
- investigate the matter where appropriate
- take action if wrongdoing is identified
- ensure individuals are not disadvantaged for raising concerns in good faith
Raising a concern
If you have a concern about behaviour, conduct, or practices connected to our business, you can raise it directly with us by contacting:
- Email: info@shaunhartcfp.co.uk
- Telephone: 01273 486 220
We encourage concerns to be shared as early as possible so that issues can be addressed promptly.
External whistleblowing
In certain circumstances, concerns can also be raised externally with the regulator.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) provides a dedicated whistleblowing service where wrongdoing related to regulated financial advice can be reported in confidence.
