How to recognise a scam

- pressure to act immediately or in secret

How we communicate with you
To help you stay safe, it is important to know how we operate:
- We will never ask you to share passwords, PINs, or online banking details.
- We will not apply pressure or request urgent payments without prior discussion.
- We will always confirm important instructions in writing.
- If we call you unexpectedly, you can hang up and call us back using our published contact details.
If you are ever unsure whether a message came from us, please check before responding.

- Confirm email addresses match our official domain

What to do if you suspect a scam
If you believe you have been targeted by a scam or have received suspicious contact:
- Stop all communication immediately
- Contact us to confirm whether the message or request is genuine
- Report the incident to Action Fraud: https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/
- Contact your bank if you think you may have disclosed financial information

- keeping your devices and antivirus software up to date
- using strong, unique passwords
